I will be with you

Come, now! I will send you to Pharaoh to lead my people,…..But Moses said to God, "Who am I that I should go .........He answered, "I will be with you….” Exodus 3: 10-12

Who am I that you should call me, Oh God,

for my sin is great and I am so unworthy.

But you alone know my heart,

you know everything about me

and you call me still.

“I will be with you”, is your reply.

Like a child taking her first step, you stretch your hand toward me.

I look into your eyes and suddenly believe I can do it.

You are with me.

Though I may fall time and time again,

Good Father that you are,

You lift me up and send me out.

I look into your eyes and see that you have chosen me….

Here I am Lord, I come to do your will.....

If I remember well, Moses did not want to accept the job because he stammered and thought he could not stand up to Pharoe.

We all sometimes think we're not worthy ... but God knows better!

Even if we Blog the odd post every now and then ... that, in itself, is something that we do for Him.

God bless.

God bless you both.

You are right Victor. Moses did stammer and thus thought himself unworthy.

And, I am glad that the Good Father still will choose those of us (like me) who are unworthy!

God bless

I love this post! It is a very humbling realization that we are so unworthy yet He loves us anyways! And gives us His mercy and blessings not to benefit Him but so we can grow in holiness that will lead us back to Him!

Beautiful and humbling. And a good reminder of how much He loves us. He chooses us despite our many faults.

Isn't it amazing that He would choose us at all? When I think that Moses was one who committed murder and yet he was chosen to lead the Israelites out of Egypt I am filled with hope. No matter what evil we may do in this life, God isn't done with us yet-He will still bring good out of us all!
